We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and positive Learning Support Assistant to work alongside class teachers and children across a class as well as with individual children with additional needs to ensure they have an inclusive and purposeful education alongside their peers.
Experience of working with children in the primary age range, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.
You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and adults. A good sense of humour and a friendly, approachable manner would suit this role well.
The successful candidates will provide support in class predominantly for a child with additional
learning needs or groups of children, however training will be given as needed.
