Job Introduction

FEMALE PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

10 hours per week could be shared amongst a team of workers.

This position is shift work.

Are you a highly empathetic, proactive, and resilient individual looking for a deeply rewarding support role? We are searching for an exceptional female Personal Care Assistant to provide comprehensive, consistent, and person-centred support to a woman in her twenties in her own home. We are looking for someone who can offer both practical assistance and strong emotional support, enabling her to live as independently and fully as possible.

This is a unique opportunity to provide vital, tailored support to a young woman managing a complex combination of conditions, including:

  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
  • Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES)
  • Tourette Syndrome (TS)

The ideal candidate must be:

  • Extremely patient, calm, and highly resilient.
  • Able to support during challenging episodes, including being completely non-judgmental, including any offensive language.


10 hours per week could be shared amongst a team of workers

Days and Times may vary – shifts include:

  • Weekends
  • Weekdays
  • 4 – 5 hour shifts
  • Day / evenings
  • Flexibility

(Rotas can be provided up to a month in advance and change every month)
