Job Introduction

We are seeking a full-time Teacher on a permanent contract. All subject specialisms welcome and this role holder will be lead a new class that is being launched for January.

 

What skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience of working with a range of student needs and Autism is required
  • Experience of working in a positive behaviour support model is also desirable
  • A solution focused and reflective practitioner
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

The Lion Works School is an Independent Special School for students aged 11-18 with an EHCP and predominantly a diagnosis of Autism.

We are looking a committed teacher to join our dedicated and hard-working team. They will need a flexible and solutions focused approach, a talent for thinking outside the box and an absolute passion for ensuring the best outcomes for all.

The role holder will teach across KS3 and KS4 with students who have a range of talents and areas to learn and develop.

Experience of working with a range of additional needs is desirable however experience of working in a special school is not essential, although highly desirable, as a structured programme of support and development will be provided.
